    Dreamhack '99 added to the list of party archives.   My favourite pictures in the pixel (1297kb) archive are by Adam, Java & Particle+Evade, but there are plenty more good pictures in there!   The trace (1265kb) archive has very good artwork by Tudor & Zworp, I also like the demo-esque atmosphere of the entry by Neurodruid.

    They are long overdue but finally you can download archives for the LTP '99 party, and these archives are of a must-see quality!   Alias, Kanewood & The fakir are responsible for the coolest traces (1328kb). The archive for the pixel compo (3618kb) might seem a bit large but the download is definately worth the wait!   Pictures by our pixel-gods Acryl, Made, Tenshu & X-man are only some of the highlights. The pixel archive also contains the entries for the oldschool compo at this party.   Party pictures can be downloaded in the photo archive (1140kb).   Thanks to Yes/Orange Juice for being so patient for this upload.... :-}

    Apparently the GFXZone was missing archives for the Demobit parties! Thankfully Temny noticed this and send us the compo pictures for these parties. Thanks!   The archive for Demobit '98 (564kb) contains the entries for both compos at that party. There are some very nice traces in this archive by Nelo & Voomie. The two other archives are for the 2k edition of Demobit. In the pixel (668kb) archive my favourite pictures are by Temny, The art studio & Bezak. The best traces from the trace (533kb) compo are by Fademan & Levius

    THEME GALLERY
    I was checking out the recent party archives posted by NdK (look below) this weekend, and noticed one pic which was such a bad scan+fix job that it made me laugh. Not that Pewex (the author) didn't mind using a JPG as a base of his pic, he simply converted the JPG to 8bit and didn't mind leaving the still visible JPG compression, and even signed it "No copy". I hope this was a joke, but a bad one as the pic ended 3'rd in the 2d compo. Pewex... this is toooo lame..
    Anyway, this gave me an idea for a Bad fix gallery, to show some of the worst attempts of cheating. I mean people cheat, but Pewex didn't even bother to clean up the mess.. BTW, feel free to mail us such pics.
